Osoby zainteresowane współpracą z ULem (organizacja wystawy, warsztatów, projekcji, wykładu etc.) prosimy o uwzględnienie możliwości lokalowych. Działamy w zabytkowym, nieocieplonym budynku. Lokal nie posiada wydajnego źródła ogrzewania, w związku z czym zimą temperatury są bardzo niskie, a latem – wysokie.
Wskazówka (nie dogmat): interesują nas wystawy opierające się na konkretnym zagadnieniu (problemie, tezie, temacie). Unikamy wystaw przeglądowych, prezentacji dorobku, po-prostu-wieszania-obrazów-na-ścianie. Nie wykluczamy żadnego medium, choć preferujemy działania o charakterze instalacyjnym, sytuacje performatywne i immersyjne. Zobacz, co dotąd zrobiliśmy.
Co oferujemy: Współpracę przy tworzeniu koncepcji wydarzenia; przestrzeń, promocję (SM, druki, biuletyn), zasoby techniczne. Jesteśmy organizacją non-profit o charakterze nieformalnym, w związku z czym nie oferujemy honorariów. Mamy jednak doświadczenie grantowo-stypendialne, jesteśmy zatem gotowi wesprzeć proces pozyskiwania środków na produkcję wydarzeń.

Cooperation
Those interested in collaborating with UL (e.g., organizing an exhibition, workshop, screening, lecture, etc.) are asked to consider the unique characteristics of our venue. Please note that we operate in a historic building. The walls lack modern insulation, and the heating system is not efficient. Consequently, temperatures inside can be very low in winter and quite hot in summer.
A guiding principle: We are particularly interested in exhibitions that explore a specific issue, problem, thesis, or topic. We tend to avoid review exhibitions, achievement showcases, or displays that simply involve hanging paintings on walls. While we are open to all mediums, we have a preference for installations, performative works, and immersive experiences. For inspiration, take a look at our past projects.
What do we offer: Collaboration in developing the event concept; venue space, promotion (social media, printed materials, newsletter), and technical resources. We are a non-profit, informal organization, which means we do not offer fees. However, we have experience with grants and scholarships and are ready to support the process of securing funding for event production.
